Firstly congratulations! The journey to your special day is best parts exciting and some parts stressful – your wedding day should be fun and full of love – that’s where I come in.

I offer bespoke legal wedding ceremonies and commitment ceremonies (large and intimate) crafted with the utmost care and detail. Working with you to make your day the happiest, most special event. You can add any elements to your ceremony to your heart’s content (within legal and safety standards!)

Whether it’s a multi-day affair with hundreds of guests, or an intimate micro-wedding with just the closest people in your circle, I am here to make sure the day represents your love story exactly the way you want it to.

If you already have a very precise vision, I welcome the honor of executing it exactly as you have dreamed it up. If you have a loose plan and need help with the details, I can work with you and your partner to fill in the gaps. If you have no idea at all what you want your ceremony to look like, just that you love each other and it’s time to celebrate that love - you’ve come to the right place. I will get to know both of you, your love story, your personalities, and guide you towards something just right.

Commitment Ceremonies

A commitment ceremony is different from a marriage ceremony in that there are no legalities involved. Another difference is that some couples do not wish to have references to ‘marriage’ or ‘wedding’ in the ceremony. This is a conscientious choice made by the couple. The primary focus is ‘Love’ and ‘Union’.A commitment ceremony serves as a promise between two people to stay together through life’s adventures and declare their love for one another.

This can be a very intimate occasion with just a few guests, or this can be performed in front of a large crowd at a venue with a processional similar to the traditional wedding. A vow exchange is generally included and sometimes an eternity ring or trinket exchange can take place (commonly jewelry or items of importance).

Like any of the ceremonies I personally craft, the wording is completely unique and reflects the couple’s ideals. As always it is about celebrating love.

So What Type of Ceremony Should I Have?

There are virtually thousands of ways to unite and celebrate your love. Sometimes the difficulty is crafting a unique wedding ceremony which matches rituals with a couple’s ideals. We have to remember a wedding ceremony is the union of two individuals, very often with separate belief systems and different perspectives on what marriage means to them.

For this reason I love to chat and get an insight into each distinctive personality. There is no reason why a ceremony can’t have many different representations of Non-Religious, Semi-Religious, Mixed Faith & Spiritual symbolism. There is equally no reason why the doctrine of Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Dr Seuss or whatever your predisposition, should not have a place in your day.
